Use a mirror to find rodent entry points
A mirror shows what you cannot see.
When trying to find mouse entry points to your home or business, use a mirror. Like your dentist using a mirror to see behind your teeth, a mirror lets you see the back or underside view that is otherwise impossible to see. The problem is the vantage point. When you look in a mirror at your home, the reflected view is simple. If you want to see want a rodent sees as it climbs up the foundation of your home, the mirror is essential. To illustrate this I picked a simple corner exclusion.
The view from above
This first view is from a normal standing or kneeling point of view. The next view is of a corner of a home just below the siding shows a mouse entry point that is not visible when looking from above or from the side. The siding is less than 6 inches off the mulch making looking up impossible without a mirror. The second view is the rodents view of the corner looking up, note the chewed edges of the wood opening and brown sebum rub mark on the concrete. The third photo is the view of the rodent entry point made visible by using a mirror. A mirror is a simple and cost effective (cheap) tool that is essential to rodent exclusion.
