Greenhow Pest Control is no stranger to the local pests that frequent the Westborough area. As locals familiar with the Metro West Boston region, the team at Greenhow has seen just about every type of pest problem, ranging from termite infestations to rat and rodent problems.
This small town has a rich history, serving as a home to prehistoric people in as early as 7,000 B.C. From 1200 to 1600 A.D., Nipmuc Indians would hunt and fish near Cedar Swamp and Hocomonco Pond, stretching from the western to eastern edges of the town. There was a substantial Native American population in Westborough, although it later turned into a Puritan village incorporated in 1717.
Today, several historic places surround the current downtown area. Just 30 miles outside of Boston, visitors can find plenty of restaurants, historic homes, and water activities like beaches, boating, and fishing. This quaint New England town has the best of both worlds, but this also means that unwanted pests are well established throughout the town.
