Located approximately 18 miles southwest of Boston and about 30 miles northeast of Providence, Rhode Island, Stoughton is part of Greater Boston’s metropolitan area known as the “Metrowest.”
Stoughton is a community that has always been very patriotic. Every year the town of Stoughton hosts an annual 4th of July fireworks display at their local high school, and on Veterans Day, they have a parade to honor veterans from all different wars. In addition to these events, in 1986, the town started hosting another spectacular event every December 18: The Christmas Parade.
However, despite all these wonderful features, Stoughton also has some big pest problems. Termites are prevalent throughout town and eat wood all year long.
