About a week later, I started hearing buzzing in my walls, so I had another agent come out - he saw right away that it was yellow jackets not only in the place I suspected, but also building a nest in a second location. He also checked out the rest of the house to see if there were any other problems. He was able to take care of both nests right away for a very reasonable price.
