The North End is one of Boston’s oldest residential communities — it has been continuously inhabited since the 1630s. It is a small section of the city but has a rich history with grave markers in the Copp’s Hill Burying Ground dating back to 1661.
Today, the North End is nicknamed Boston’s “Little Italy.” Located at the north end of the Shawmut Peninsula, you will find an array of traditional delis, pastry shops, and Italian restaurants nestled along the neighborhood’s narrow streets.
Although it holds a small population of about ten thousand, it is home to nearly 100 establishments and offers plenty of tourist attractions. However, the last thing any business owner or resident wants to experience is a pest infestation in their home or business.
