Your continued use of our Platform, and/or your purchase of products or services from our Platform, constitutes your acceptance of this Privacy Policy and any updates. This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to our Platform and not to any Web sites which may be linked to our Platform. Collection of Your Personal Information
When you use our Platform, Greenhow collects information about you. This includes information that identifies you or can be used to identify you (“Personal Information”). You may voluntarily provide certain Personal Information to us in order to use certain features available on the Site. These may include: (a) creating a client account through our “My Account” page; (b) paying or our services; (c) entering into a service contract with us; (d) applying for employment with us; and/or (e) sending us a message through our “Contact Us” page or through your account. In connection with your use of our Platform, we may ask you to provide Personal Information, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address, or telephone number. If you choose to make a purchase or sign up for an account on our “My Account page, we may ask for additional information, such as your credit card number and billing address, which is used to create a billing account. In order to access some of our services, you may be asked to sign in with a username and password. If you access our services via a mobile phone, you may also use your telephone number and a PIN as an alternative credential to your username and password. As part of creating your credentials, you may also be requested to provide questions and secret answers, which we use to help verify your identity and assist in resetting your password, as well as an alternate e-mail address.
We also automatically collect certain information, including Personal Information, about you when you interact with our Site. For example, we may use Web site analytics tools on our Site to retrieve information from your browser, including the Web site you came from, the search engine and the keywords you used to find our Site, the pages you view within our Site, your browser add-ons, and your browser’s width and height. Sharing Information with Third Parties
Greenhow does not rent, lease, sell or exchange Personal Information with other organizations.
Greenhow may, however, share Personal Information with service providers to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, host our Site, respond to communications you send to us, provide customer support, process transactions (including credit card processing and shipping), or perform market analysis of the use of our Platform, products and services and in connection with our data and promotions management. Those service providers will be permitted to obtain only the Personal Information they need to deliver the service. They are required to maintain the confidentiality of the information and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose. However, for credit card processing, our fraud detection vendors may use aggregate data to help improve their service. This helps them more accurately detect fraudulent uses of credit cards.
Greenhow may disclose your Personal Information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Greenhow; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Greenhow; (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Site, or the public; and/or (d) assist in fraud protection or investigation.
We may also share Personal Information we collect or create in connection with a purchase, transfer, or sale of Greenhow or its assets, such as in a merger or corporate reorganization. If this occurs, the Personal Information will be subject to the policies of the receiving organization.
Security of Your Personal Information
We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, like other companies, Greenhow cannot guarantee the security or confidentiality of the Personal Information you provide to us. As a result, while we strive to protect your Personal Information, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations inherent in the Internet which are beyond our control and (b) security, integrity, and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and us through our Platform cannot be guaranteed.
How Long We Keep Your Personal Information
We retain your Personal Information in accordance with our business needs and for legal, regulatory, audit and tax requirements for as long as allowed by United States law. After this period the Personal Information relating to your use of our Platform will be deleted; however, any Personal Information which you have provided to us for receiving information, newsletters and event invitations will be kept until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.
Use of Cookies
Our Site may use “cookies” to enable or help you to sign in to our services and to help personalize your online experience. Children Under Thirteen
The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13. Greenhow does not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of thirteen through our Site. If we learn that we have collected Personal Information directly from a child under the age of 13 through the Site, we will delete that information.
Email Communications
From time to time, Greenhow may contact you via email for the purposes of responding to your communications to us, performing our services and/or providing announcements, updates, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or general communication, if you have given us your email address.
If you would like to stop receiving email from Greenhow, you may opt out of such communications by clicking “Unsubscribe from this list” at the bottom of the email.
You have the right:
- not to receive discriminatory treatment by Greenhow for the exercise of privacy rights conferred by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR);
- to change the Personal Information you have provided to us;
- to request that Greenhow delete Personal Information that we have collected about you or that you have submitted to us;

- to request that Greenhow not share your Personal Information with others;
- to request that Greenhow not send you information about products and services.
Transfer/Suppression/Deletion of Personal Information
If you would like Greenhow to disclose, delete, transfer, or suppress sharing your Personal Information, or stop sending you information, please contact us by writing to us via mail or e-mail at our address listed below under the “Contact Information” section of this Privacy Policy.
In your request, please make clear what Personal Information you would like to have transferred, suppressed, or deleted or otherwise let us know what limitations you would like to put on our use of your Personal Information. For your protection, we may only implement requests with respect to the Personal Information associated with the specific email address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before implementing your request. We will comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable.
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf if you provide the authorized agent with written permission to do so. Before complying with a request from an agent, we may require that you verify your own identity directly with us. We may deny a request from an agent that does not submit proof that they have been authorized by you to act on your behalf.
Please note that we may need to retain certain information for record-keeping purposes. There may also be residual information that will remain within our databases and other records, which will not be removed.
